You may choose Remote Training or On-site Training with any of our POS systems.

Remote training is performed by telephone and (for Windows-based systems) internet access and is part of the Service Pack on most of our system for a 1-2 hour session which covers all standard operations.

For on-site installation, training and other technical services our consultants are available to visit your premises throughout the UK, rest of Europe, Middle East and Africa. Sessions on-site at your premises cost £400 for a half-day (3.5 hours) session and £695 for a full-day (6 hour) session, or we may quote an hourly fee for technical services.

The above service provision cost covers the session fee itself. Supply of any new equipment, parts or consumables would be payable separately.

Additionally, a contribution towards the consultant's travel expenses and travel time to & from your premises is also payable. As a guide, this is reasonable and based on the following table:

Travel outside the mainland UK will require payment of the air-fare, onward train / taxi and suitable hotel accomodation. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quotation.

Upto 3 staff can join a half-day training session, and upto 8 staff on a full-day session. Training is conducted in accordance with our standard Training Agenda for the particular system. We will cover the main areas within the timescale of the session that you have booked (3.5 hours or 6 hours). The standard agenda covers starting up and shutting down the system, handling the peripherals (scanner, printers, cash drawer, card terminal etc), how to process all standard types of transactions for sales / refunds, reports, data backup, system management, adding new products, making price changes, adding login names / passwords and other basic programming tasks. The agenda can be tailored beforehand to meet your particular staff / manager training requirements. You can book additional training sessions if required.

Where installation of the system is also required, the price includes additional time for installation of a single terminal system with its periperhals, which is done prior to starting training. Where you have multiple terminals, an additional charge of £35 per terminal will apply. Please refer to our pre-installation advice for your provision of power points, networking points, router and any internet connection.

In all cases, where travel expenses and travel time charges are applicable, they will always be quoted with the main system and agreed wih you in writing beforehand. If you do not wish to pay travel expenses, you can alternatively arrange remote training or purchase a training session held at our London offices.
